nickbello asked: Your Zelda idea is fantastic. I'm not familiar with how the process works, but I believe you should talk to Nintendo about producing something like that. What do you have in mind for the plot?
Plotwise, it’d probably follow the general formula for most Zelda games. There are some key events I had in mind, however:
- Until recently, Modern Hyrule was a fairly expansive sprawling cityscape.
- Before Ganondorf’s rise to power, Princess Zelda would aid the governing of Hyrule, akin to the British constitutional monarchy.
- Ganondorf is directly responsible for much of the ruin and destruction of Hyrule’s current state of affairs. Darknuts are his immediate enforcers, which is why Ganondorf himself and the Darknuts seem to be relatively unscathed by much of the damage, and why the Darknuts are comparably, to Link, better equipped.
- Death Mountain would be either completely stripmined or converted into an enormous refinery.
- Some time in the past, the Lost Woods was forcibly deforested to make way for urban construction. The location is now in the process of being slowly retaken by the forest.
- With Ganondorf now on the throne, the seals placed on the ReDeads have come undone. In one of the versions of Ganondorf, he appears to be a prisoner in shackles; some of the Redead bindings are similar in design.
- Lake Hylia is now thoroughly polluted due to the nearby factory runoff.
